Magnetic Contacts White

A pair of wired, surface-mounted magnetic door and window contact switches used in conventional home and commercial alarm systems. They detect when a protected door or window is opened to trigger your alarm.

KEY DETAILS & SPECIFICATIONS:

• How It Works: One half (the reed switch) is mounted on the door/window frame, and the other half (the magnet) is mounted on the moving door or window itself. When separated, the circuit opens, signaling the Paradox security panel to register an intrusion.
• Gap Width: 22mm take and 26mm break. (The alarm triggers when the magnet is pulled about 26mm away from the contact).
• Color: White (often used for discreet mounting on white frames and trim). Switch Type: Normally Closed (N/C) reed switch.
• Compatibility: Used in conventional, wired alarm installations, making them highly versatile for a variety of Paradox or other third-party panels.
